Eugene Koh
The futurist manifesto is the main doctrine that heavily influence Eugene’s works. Graduated with a B.A. (Hons), from Loughborough University and trained in all traditional and contemporary sculpture mediums at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts.
Since 2012, he has participated in 19 local and international group exhibitions in China, Korea, Singapore, and the United Kingdom. He was nominated for the Prudential Young Artist Award in 2014. In 2015, he represented Singapore at the Korean Daekyo International Sculpture Symposium for Graduate School & College Students to produce a permanent piece at the Incheon Airport golf resort.
His work expresses his thoughts and ideas, often combining two schools in one; an engineer’s mind and an artist’s heart, the artwork forms within the overlap between the two. He is currently taking a role as a committee member in the in the Sculpture Society (Singapore), focusing on administrative and branding transformation.
